2 Organists, 4 Hands, 4 Feet

With two players the organ reveals countless new options of sound design. Our repertoire is focused on self-made arrangements of orchestral works. Well known pieces appear in a new guise, the organ shines in orchestral colours. The impressionist programme “Von Geistern und Hexenmeistern“ is designed for a symphonic organ of 3 to 4 manuals with a stepper system. The baroque Advent- and Christmas-programme is possible on a 2-manual, also historical, instrument.

A journey through the mysterious realm of fantasy, magical creatures and sorcerers. In a compelling story, the listener partakes in the adventures of Prince Ivan Zarevitch and the Firebird (Stravinsky), worries about the helpless Sorcerer's Apprentice (Dukas) and discovers the castle grounds of Hogwarts with snowy owl Hedwig. The audience can interfere with the story and meet well-known figures such as queen of the elves, Titania and You-Know-Who. The organ functions as a storyteller itself and with help from performance artist Theresa Szorek the fairytales can be brought to life.

"You've never heard of The Tales of Beedle the Bard?" said Ron incredulously. 'The Fountain of Fair Fortune' ... 'The Wizard and the Hopping Pot'... 'Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump'...?" "Ron, you know full well Harry and I were brought up by Muggles!" said Hermione. "We didn't hear stories like that when we were little, we heard 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' and 'Cinderella'--" "What's that, an illness?" asked Ron.
