The Organ-Duo
The Organ-Duo Marion Krall and Lars Schwarze startet playing music for four hands and feet while studying together at the Musikhochschule in Lübeck. Both of them had the position of assistent organists at St Jacobi, Lübeck between 2015 und 2019. As a Duo they are laureats at the 1st international Competition for Organ-Duo „Aquattromani“ in Poland. In their musical program they focus mainly on their own transcriptions of orchestral music, which presents the organ in an especially colorful variety of sounds.
Das Duo erhielt 2020 in der Reihe #zusammenspielen eine eigene Rundfunkproduktion mit dem SWR und ist Auswahlensemble des „Klangspektrums Baden-Württemberg“
Marion Krall
Marion Krall (*1991), aufgewachsen in Baden, studierte Kirchenmusik an der Musikhochschule Lübeck, Orgel bei Prof. Arvid Gast. Im Rahmen des Erasmus-Programms verbrachte sie 2014/2015 ein Jahr am Pôle Superieur de Paris in der Orgelklasse von Christophe Mantoux. Ihr Masterstudium der evangelischen Kirchenmusik führte sie an die Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, wo sie bis 2021 mit einem künstlerischen Orgelstudium bei Prof. Bernhard Haas ihre Ausbildung ergänzt hat.
Von 2015 bis 2017 war sie als Assistenzorganistin von Arvid Gast an den historischen Orgeln in St. Jakobi in Lübeck tätig. Von September 2019 bis September 2020 absolvierte Marion Krall ihr Praxisjahr an der Münchner Kulturkirche St Lukas, wo sie unter anderem die in der Pandemie entwickelten Online-Formate mit geprägt hat. Seit Februar 2021 hat sie die zweite Kantorenstelle an der Christuskirche Mannheim inne, deren reiches Musikprogramm ein überregionales Renommee genießt.
Lars Schwarze
Lars Schwarze, born and raised in Alfeld (Leine), received his first diploma of Church music and Organ with Prof. Arvid Gast at the Musikhochschule Lübeck. Since October 2019 he continues his studies of Church Music with Prof. Jörg Halubek and Prof. Jürgen Essl in Stuttgart. As part of an exchange program he was studying on a scholarship with Prof. David Titterington at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He won several prizes at international organ competitions (ea. Mendelssohn-Hochschulwettberb 2019, International Buxtehude-Organ Competition 2018 and International Hermann-Schröder Prize 2017). From 2016-2019 Lars was Assistant Organist at St. Jakobi Lübeck and was regularly playing on the historic instruments for services and concerts.
Neben dem Studium ist er als Kantor an der Gaisburger Kirche in Stuttgart tätig und hat die Leitung der Gaisburger Konzertreihen inne.
